BORN AGAIN

I've planted seeds for Christ most of my Christian life. Recently I was blessed to find out that 22 years later
a seed that I had planted was brought to harvest. It wasn't by me but my heart jumped with joy knowing I was doing
what the Lord wanted me to do. I ask the Lord to give me the chance to help lead someone to Him. I've ask people
if they knew Jesus but I wanted to be there when they ask Jesus to be their Lord. I knew what needed to be ask and
scriptures to use. There were times that the person wasn't ready to accept Jesus. I think we all have that little
bit of fear of rejection so sometimes we just move on and don't push. My dad always ask everyone he met if they
knew Jesus and shared with them the plan of Salvation. I've always been amazed by his boldness and not being ashamed
of the gosep of Jesus Christ. I ask the Lord to send me someone to bring to Him and follow through to the harvest.
I gave birth to my oldest son in the 70's. My parents took him and my other son to church when I worked. I remember
the day he was born down to everything that happened that day. My son at a young age was Baptized. Then again about
14 years ago. He called me about mid week about a month ago. He was troubled and wanted to talk. Jesus was with me at
his first birth and the three of us were together for my son's Spiritul Birth. He prayed the sinners prayer over the phone.
I'm sure from his prayer that he knew what he was doing and wanted to let go and let God be control of his life. Thank
Jesus for the harvest but it wasn't over yet. Almost exactly a week later with out my youngest son's knowledge of his
brother's committment, I received a call from my youngest son concerned about his own salvation. He shared with me of
the day he was being baptized that he wasn't sure of his salvation. We continued talking and he wanted to wait to tell
Jesus that he wanted Him to be His saviour and have control of his life with me there. He shared that he wanted to be
re-baptized. I told my son let's do it now on the phone. Don't wait till tomorrow because we aren't sure of tomorrow.
I ask if he wanted me to put him on speaker phone with his father and he said yes. He prayed and we were in tears over
this commitment. After about a month or two he text his father one morning and wanted to go to church with us. It was truly
amazing for him to be sitting in church once again with us as he did when he was a little boy. I would go to church most of
the time but my husband would go sometimes. Life with the problems of our children and grandchildren's lives, lead us to
make a commitment of finding a church near us. We found a really good church that was on fire for the Lord. As I said the
oldest son is saved now but still lost in the battle against the devil and the world of sin trying to pull him down again.
We as parents needed to be better examples than we had been all the years my children and grandchildren have been raised.
These children need the fellowship of Christian people like we did and our children need us to show them what God is doing
in our life now. God was not finished with this family yet. Just the past two weeks my granddaughter and her fiance were
saved. They are to be Baptized this Sunday. God is never finished His work with this and other families. When God opens up
a door for you to go in and do His work, do it. As parents we are receiving so many blessings right now for following the
Lord as He wants us to.
Luke 11:9-10 KJV -9.And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be
opened unto you. 10.For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be
opened.
