STUDY OF REVELATION IS IN THE STORIES SECTION.

MATTHEW 24

MATTHEW CHAPTER 24 WAS A CHAPTER IN THE BIBLE THAT IS A GOOD CHAPTER TO KNOW. THE LORD LEAD ME TO USE THIS CHAPTER AND OTHER SCRIPTURES.

Matthew 24:1-19  KJV 1.And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples
came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2.And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There
shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3.And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying,
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the
end of the world?
4.And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5.For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6.And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all
these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be
famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8.All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9.Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be
hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10.And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one
another.
11.And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12.And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13.But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14.And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto
all nations; and then shall the end come.
15.When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16.Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17.Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18.Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19.And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

Luke 23:29 KJV 29.For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed
are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

Matthew 24:20-22 KJV 20.But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the
sabbath day:
21.For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world
to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22.And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the
elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Zechariah 14:2-3 KJV 2.For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the
city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city
shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from
the city.
3.Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the
day of battle.

Matthew 24:23-30 KJV 23.Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there;
believe it not.
24.For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs
and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25.Behold, I have told you before.
26.Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth:
behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27.For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be.
28.For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29.Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the
moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of
the heavens shall be shaken:
30.And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the
tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of
heaven with power and great glory.

Revelation 1:7 KJV 7.Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they
also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so,
Amen.

Matthew 24:31-33 KJV 31.And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and
they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the
other.
32.Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth
leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33.So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the
doors.

James 5:8-9 KJV 8.Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord
draweth nigh.
9.Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge
standeth before the door.

Matthew 24:34-35 KJV 34.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all
these things be fulfilled.
35.Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Psalms 102:25-26 KJV 25.Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the
heavens are the work of thy hands.
26.They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a
garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

Matthew 24:36-40 KJV 36.But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of
heaven, but my Father only.
37.But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38.For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying
and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39.And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of
the Son of man be.
40.Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Luke 17:34 KJV 34.I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one
shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

Matthew 24:41 KJV 41.Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and
the other left.

Deuteronomy 24:6 KJV 6.No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for
he taketh a man's life to pledge.

Matthew 24:42-43 KJV 42.Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43.But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief
would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Luke 12:39 KJV 39.And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the
thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken
through.

Revelation 3:3 KJV 3.Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast,
and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou
shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Matthew 24:44 KJV 44.Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the
Son of man cometh.

1 Thessalonians 5:6 KJV 6.Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and
be sober.

Matthew 24:45-47 KJV 45.Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made
ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46.Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47.Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Matthew 25:21 KJV 21.His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant:
thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter
thou into the joy of thy lord.

Revelation 24:48-51 KJV 48.But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord
delayeth his coming;
49.And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50.The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an
hour that he is not aware of,
51.And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there
shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

THE KING

THE KING

Luke 24:1-7 KJV 1.Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they
came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others
with them.
2.And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3.And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4.And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by
them in shining garments:
5.And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them,
Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6.He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in
Galilee,
7.Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be
crucified, and the third day rise again.

WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT THE RESURRECTION?

1 Corinthians 15:12-58 KJV 12.Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how
say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13.But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14.And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15.Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he
raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16.For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17.And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18.Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19.If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20.But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21.For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22.For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23.But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming.
24.Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the
Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25.For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26.The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27.For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under
him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28.And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be
subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
29.Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all?
why are they then baptized for the dead?
30.And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
31.I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
32.If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it
me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
33.Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34.Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak
this to your shame.
35.But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36.Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37.And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain,
it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38.But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39.All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh
of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40.There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the
celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41.There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the
stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42.So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in
incorruption:
43.It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised
in power:
44.It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and
there is a spiritual body.
45.And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was
made a quickening spirit.
46.Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and
afterward that which is spiritual.
47.The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48.As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are
they also that are heavenly.
49.And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the
heavenly.
50.Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51.Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52.In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53.or this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54.So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have
put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is
swallowed up in victory.
55.O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56.The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57.But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58.Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the
work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1)HEAVEN HEADED INTO RESURRECTION.
Romans 3:23 KJV 23.For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23 KJV 23.For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
YOU RECEIVE THE GIFT OF GOD WHEN YOU TAKE POSSESION OF IT THROUGH SALVATION.

2)JESUS CHRIST IS THE MEDIATOR.
John 14:1-3 KJV 1.Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go
to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto
myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
1 Peter 3:18 KJV 18.For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust,
that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the
Spirit:
THE SINLESS LAMB OF GOD PAID THE PRICE.
ONLY MEDIATOR WILL BE JESUS CHRIST.
Matthew 28:19-20 KJV 19.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20.Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am
with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
WE HAVE A MESSAGE OF LIFE WITH JESUS.
John 20:11-16 KJV 11.But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept,
she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12.And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet,
where the body of Jesus had lain.
13.And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have
taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14.And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew
not that it was Jesus.
15.Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him
to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou
hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16.Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is
to say, Master.
Matthew 11:25-30 KJV 25.At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent,
and hast revealed them unto babes.
26.Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
27.All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the
Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son
will reveal him.
28.Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall
find rest unto your souls.
30.For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
HAVE YOU EVER RECEIVED UNCONDITIONAL FORGIVENESS?

3)PUTS US IN A CAN'T DO SITUATION.
Acts 9:1-16 KJV 1.And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the
disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2.And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this
way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3.And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a
light from heaven:
4.And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why
persecutest thou me?
5.And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:
it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6.And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord
said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7.And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no
man.
8.And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they
led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9.And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10.And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord
in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11.And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight,
and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he
prayeth,
12.And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him,
that he might receive his sight.
13.Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath
done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14.And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15.But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my
name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16.For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
Philippians 1:21 KJV 21.For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Ephesians 2:10 KJV 10.For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good
works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV 8.We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the
body, and to be present with the Lord.
WHEN YOUR SPIRIT DEPARTS FROM THE BODY, YOU NEED TO KNOW WHERE YOU GO.
HEAVEN OR HELL?

CONCLUSION: JESUS CHRIST HAS BEEN RESURRECTED. WHAT ABOUT YOU?
YOU CAN BE RESURRECTED TODAY.
Romans 10:9 KJV 9.That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:13 KJV 13.For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
